A Story of Community Involvement and Systems Change
Sheeba Vijayan founded IDEAS2Centre after over 12 years of experience in equity and inclusion work. She was regularly sought in collaborative partnerships to address system inequities in public institutions and government systems. Throughout her work, Sheeba was afforded the opportunity to learn about the cultural intricacies of working with the goals and concerns of underrepresented populations.
Reflecting on all that she had learned, as well as her lived experiences navigating structural and systemic barriers at a personal and professional level, led her on a personal mission to broaden perspectives on the importance of organizations recognizing their system role.
Sheeba is a Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR), Certified Mental Wellness Coach & Facilitator, and holds a Master of Management from Western Sydney University. Sheeba has also earned a Certificate in Organizational Leadership from Coady International Institute and a Certificate in Public Policy from Max Bell Foundation Public Policy Training Institute.
